Role and Responsibilities:
  • Performs the duties of a paying and receiving teller; cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments and safety deposit rent; sells Official Checks, cashes savings bonds, completes CTRs as needed; takes check orders.
  • Performs Visa/Master Card cash advances for customers.
  • Scans works through branch capture.
  • Willingly helps customers with safe deposit box access.
  • Adapts well to flexible scheduling.
  • Seeks expanded deposit and loan relationships with customers that they serve.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assists multiple loan officers in preparing loan files for processing as follows;  receives the loan application and requested financial documentation from the borrower, assists the officer with the underwriting and cash flow preparation, communicates clearly and effectively with the customer and the centralized loan processing department, monitors the timeline necessary for closing the loan, orders all items needed for closing, coordinates delivery of all required loan disclosures, insures all regulatory timelines are met, prepares HMDA forms for Compliance department, completes all post-closing aspects to include preparation and submission of AFT/ACH and complete NetTeller setup, CIF maintenance with address changes, E-consent and driver’s license for imaging and ensure all delivery documentation is complete, review loan folder for completion and forward financial and loan documentation to Loan Operations for imaging, assists officer in clearing exceptions, and monitor the list of maturing loans.
  • Answers incoming phone calls, assist customer as needed or reroutes call to appropriate person.
  • Assists customers in the loan officer’s absence.
  • Assists loan officers in collecting past due loan payments.
  • Complies with CIP requirements and obtains required CIP documentation as initial processing of loan request and recognize address discrepancies that need documentation to ensure correct information is on customer profile.
  • Seeks expanded deposit and loan relationships with customers.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize requests from loan officers, operations, customers, and           co-workers and manage expectations through excellent communication.
  • Understands and cross-sells bank products.
