Role and Responsibilities:
  • Cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments and safety deposit rent; sells Official Checks; takes check orders; handles returned checks; lets customers in safety deposit box; and performs Visa/Master Card cash advances for customers.
  • Scans works through Branch Capture
  • Balances vault and ATM; restocks ATM
  • Handles account inquiries and solves customer problems at the first customer contact
  • Runs coin machine
  • Completes training as needed
  • Has helpful attitude with co-workers and customers
  • Strives to improve the efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
  • Adheres to IT Program including IT Security Policy and completes required IT training

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Physical Requirements

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Trained in various Customer Service departments and the Call Center to fill-in for absent employees or to assist during peak periods.
  • Performs the duties of paying and receiving teller:  cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments and safety deposit rent; sells Official Checks; completes CTRs as needed; takes check orders; and performs Visa/Master Card cash advances for customers.
  • Performs the duties of Customer Service representatives:  opens new accounts, monitors check orders, and cross-sells all accounts offered by the bank, assist customers with IRAs and IRA questions and with account inquiries, comply with CIP requirements, and orders ATM cards.
  • Backs up the Switchboard Operator and Call Center employees.
  • Employee has prompt and regular attendance.
  • Adapts to flexible scheduling.
  • Completes training as needed.
  • Has helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Expand and nurture client relationships with existing customers by assisting officers with underwriting renewals and referrals.
  • Handles consumer and small business loan requests for walk-in clients and referrals within defined lending authority.
  • Assists the officers you support in all parts of the credit process, including but not limited to, annual reviews, risk ratings, approval packages and presentations, client due diligence and documentation process
  • Proactive contact to acquire updated financials for the purposes of clearing exceptions or helping the officer prepare for a loan renewal.
  • Closing renewals or loans when instructed by the officer.
  • Taking calls when the officer is outside of the bank or in meetings.
  • Stays in communication with loan assistants to keep WIP flowing and organized for loans to close as expected.
  • Make referrals to the Mortgage, LPL, and Trust Departments when appropriate.
  • Responsible for Problem Loan Reports in own portfolio and in portfolios of officers you support.
  • Collect tax returns and financial statements for spreads in own portfolio and in portfolios of officers you support.
  • Monitor and collect document and financial exceptions in own portfolio and in portfolio of officers you support.
  • Consistently complies with CIP requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Originates mortgage loans.
  • Employee consistently complies with CIP requirements.
  • Makes sound and prudent mortgage loans.
  • Builds a close working relationship with realtors and builders.
  • Calls on prospective and current customers for new or additional business.
  • Works with loan officers and other bank employees to ensure a pipeline of mortgage referrals.
  • Keeps current on mortgage products and rates.
  • Ensures that each area of the bank understands the function of the Mortgage Loan Department and how to refer business to the department.
  • Orders credit reports and also must know how to interpret the reports.
  • Services secondary market customers as if they were Commercial Bank customers.
  • Cross sells bank products or guides the customer to other departments for assistance.

  • Understanding of how to take applications and explain general real estate questions regarding the loan, property, taxes, insurance, and escrow accounts.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to get along well with others.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collects delinquent 6-11 day accounts, works P & L recovery.
  • Assists Branch Manager in customer solicitation programs.
  • Acts as branch relief during employee absences.
  • Serves as # 2 cashier (i.e., relieves #1 cashier for lunch breaks, rush periods and during absences, etc).
  • Initiates ACH payments.
  • Takes loan applications, investigates applications and makes credit decisions within authority.  Refers applications over authority to next higher level with recommendations.
  • Maintains A&H/Credit Life/Personal insurance follow-up logs, files claims with Mt Life/LOTS.
  • Cross-sells insurance and Volunteer Lenders products.
  • Processes rejections weekly.
  • Assists in loan processing, etc., when needed.
  • Closes loans, breaks down loans closed.
  • Performs other duties as requested and adjusts work hours as needed to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Sets goals for making referrals to contacts in the community.
